Turnagain Armageddon | Web Graphics

I had a bit of fun with some screenshots from the film Turnagain Armageddon creating these colorful graphics.

The goal is to encourage viewers to donate funds toward the cost of making the film, which was created on a shoestring budget and entirely out-of-pocket.

Please have a look and consider throwing down a few of your hard-earned sawbucks...

Michael & Decker Real Estate | Logo

I've finalized the logo for Michael & Decker LLC Real Estate. It was a fairly simple task with just a few tweaks to get it right. The folks knew what they wanted and were easy to please.

Now it's on to building their website. More to come...

Allright Home Repair & Remodel | Website

The website for Allright Remodel is really looking good. I'm very happy with how it's going. The logo integrated nicely and we also shot some new photos to bring it all to life.

This project has been lengthy, rather involved, and quite challenging. I've drawn on a number of artistic disciplines including graphic design, web development and photography.

Indian Valley Retreat Center | Website

Things are starting to come together with the Indian Valley Retreat Center website. I'm still working out some kinks and getting content organized.

Here's a look at the site so far:

Zombie Paintings

I created a series of paintings inspired by the film Turnagain Armageddon, a local production that chronicles the tale of a lone survivor during the zombie apocalypse.

I was overwhelmed by the interest and positive feedback I got from this series. In fact, the art went so quickly I was unable to properly document it.

There were nine altogether. One of the paintings was used in the promotional poster and went to Gator, the film's creator. The rest are scattered out to the cast of the movie and the cult-like zombie-loving masses.

Here is a look at the last remaining piece ("Man-Eater") and another that I happened to photograph before it sold:

Taku Engineering | Holiday Greeting Card revision

At the 11th hour we made a hard decision and chose to go a different direction with the Taku Engineering, LLC. holiday greeting card. The look isn't a big deviation, and I think it was a good call.

Barring any further changes, here's a peek at the final design. I'll post the invitation after the party, so as to avoid any potential party crashers looking to leech off all the good holiday cheer.

Looking forward to seeing the final product in actual printed form, and maybe going to what appears to be a pretty swanky party!

Taku Engineering | Holiday Greeting Card

I really enjoy working for the folks at Taku Engineering, LLC. Recently, they had me take a stab at designing their annual holiday greeting card and party invitation. It's always fun to do something different, and this project is a nice change of pace for me. Still a work in progress, we'll see where it goes.

Turnagain Armageddon | Movie Poster

"A fever spreads across the land."

Recently, John O'Leary, a.k.a. Gator from the Grind, approached me about helping him with the promotion of his independent film, Turnagain Armageddon. The movie tells the story of a lone survivor of the zombie apocalypse. I was excited and eager to take on the task.

This project presented me with the opportunity to get really creative, and I seized it. To start things off, Gator and I went out on a shoot together – the 12-guage and 357 variety. It was a blast, literally. We shot the zombie snot out of some stuff!

I took what was left of the peppered plywood panels – my preferred canvas – home to the art studio and got to work creating some images inspired by the film. What followed was an exploration into the dark and chaotic recesses of my imagination...and I think I like it.

Happy Halloween!

Quite possibly my favorite holiday, I love Halloween. Spooky costumes, tons of candy, freaks, creeps, weirdos and monsters. So much fun! What's not to love?

As a child I was fascinated with comic books and graphic novels. One of my favorite artists back then was Gurchain Singh, a.k.a. "The Gurch". His pen and ink illustrations of zombies, skeletons, gore and guts that appeared on the covers and pages of countless issues of Gore Shriek magazine were a source of inspiration and had a tremendous influence on my artistic development.

Big ups to The Gurch!
